About Michael Savalli, LAC
Michael is a NY State Licensed Acupuncturist. He received his Masters Degree in Oriental Medicine from NY College of Health Professions in 2014. He has extensive knowledge of Acupuncture, Chinese Herbal formulas, and Tai Chi and Qi Gong practice. Michael is dedicated to helping people achieve optimal health and well-being, so that they may better enjoy life.
Michael is committed to providing safe and effective care that is accessible to all of his clients. It is with this in mind that in 2023 he founded Community Zen Acupuncture. One of the few community acupuncture practices in Long Island, New York. The goal being to make acupuncture accessible to more people in the community.
Michael is passionate about educating people on the benefits of acupuncture and Holistic Medicine. In addition to his services, he regularly posts blog entries and social media content that allows him to share his knowledge and experience with the world. It is his goal to be your “zen-friend” and your go-to guide to relief and wellness.
He also has a BA in Mathematics from Cornell University, and a black belt in Kanzen GoJuRyu Karatedo.

Licensed in Acupuncture
Michael is a NY State Licensed Acupuncturist. He has completed a rigorous training program in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and has passed the required certification exams. He has been licensed and practicing acupuncture since 2015. He is committed to continuing his education and staying up-to-date on the latest developments in Oriental Medicine.
Certification in Tai Chi
Michael has completed a certification program in the Chen Man Ching, Yang Form Tai Chi. He also includes training in various types of Qi Gong.
Our Approach
Community Acupuncture works by making acupuncture more accessible and effective. Accessible because treating in a community setting allow for lower fees. Effective because lower fees allows for more treatments, which studies show being a major factor in treatment outcomes.
